Summer 2009 Nevada Trek -- Gallery #4

When I got to the Angel Lake road my trip was over...or was it? This is the view south of the gorgeous basin and range country so typical of Nevada from the Winchell Lake trailhead where I came out. I was hoping for a ride into Wells where I had left my van at the Motel 6, but none of the 7 cars that passed me would pick me up. I ended up walking 11 more miles on the road. Oh, well.
